You know what's profoundly irritating?
May. 2nd, 2008 01:18 pm(other than lj eating my initial entry, which I'll try to duplicate below w'out major cussing)
That I've been looking forever for the following pieces, which exists at recordings on CDs I own, and sheet music is nowhere to be found, at least as far as my friends Choralwiki, Google and Amazon go.
La mas graciosa serrana (from the Cancionero del Palacio). Anonymous composer. I have found sheet music of something called as such, but w'out a preview feature, no way I'm spending my money there. How cool would it be that they'd give us like the first 4 measures or something so that we know what we're talking about? Please?)
Maintenons nous / Resveilles qui dort / Chascun par acord
La belle se sit
Se je suis despourveu / Veni veni clerice
all 3 of them are of anonymous composer, exist in a lovely CD called "Musica del XV secolo in Italia, featuring the ensamble Ars Italica and released by Tactus. It's a lovely collection of music. Sheet music? nowhere to be found. Growl.
