..i've spent the last week playing Dragon Age - Origins, and somehow, I really hope that Splenda, my 18 level rogue/duellist won't die. Repeatedly, that is.
The funniest thing is while poking the various game forums, everyone's raving how their beefed up warrior did this and that. The RL rogue in me laughs a little contented laugh. Hah.
Umf. I had to take a break cause my brain hurt and I had to let R. play his dwarf too..

Jan. 17th, 2009 08:17 pmor, my new shredder, let me show you it.
It's powerful, and silent, and efficient, and it's gonna shred a metric crapton of old stuff that we won't take with us and thank us for the priviledge.
The lack of shredding related headache also pleases me. Because in general, I quite hatemoving packing and every little convenience counts.

Oct. 25th, 2006 04:12 pmWoke up, made french toast for breakfast (was pretty good), watched 3 episodes of Para Pente (greek tv show that I found its episodes online, spiff!) saw that it was sunny, went for a walk, stopped at Goodwill, scored a silver goblet and an inox pitcher (yay, no more glass pitcher at events!) stopped at Starbucks, had a nonfat green tea latte, came back home, and don't wanna fold all these clothes.
Gotta think about lunch, too, probably grilled sandwitches or something. Might go out again later today. I like having no deadlines and schedules. Everyone's life should be like this.

So we bid the old place farewell
Jun. 27th, 2006 11:20 pmWhat a bittersweet feeling. This was our first home together; his first "decent" apartment as he once said - the first place I lived without my parents (which is quite pathetic, but that is material for another entry); so many firsts crammed in so few square metres. I leave it with the knowledge that it is older than we are and we'll remember it much fonder than it will remember us. Everything has memory, you know.
Heh. Adieu. No more posts from la vieille chez Fauvel. New is what it is. And new we welcome.
