Mar. 15th, 2007 11:47 amLast night I finished and printed the woodcut "etude". That is, a small area of wood with a leaf motif. I screwed more or less all the leaves but one, but if I cared, I'd glue the chipped parts back.
It came out better than I thought. Still a but crude, but that was expected. It was way too small to justify using the brayer on it, so I just applied ink with a thick painting brush.
I can only do better at the next etude, which will be a human form.
